  1. Day 1 Manali – Jispa 145 Kms/ 5-6 Hrs

    Early morning leave for Jispa, cross through Rohtang Pass (13050 ft) enter to Lahaul Valley, visit Raja Gyepan temple at Sissu Village, lunch at Keylong post lunch drive to Jispa. Overnight stay at Jispa.

  2. Day 2 Jispa to Leh 330 Kms/ 10-11 Hrs

    Early morning after breakfast leave for Leh, through by crossing Baralacha Pass (16020 ft) a beautiful drive on high altitude to be remembered for life time, Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft. Post Lunch drive to Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (Plateau on Stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft, 2nd highest motorable road in the world, reach upshi where your drive along with Indus river. Overnight stay at Leh.

  3. Day 3 Leh – Sham region – Leh 124 KMs/ 5-6 Hrs

    After breakfast drive to Likir, Alchi Monastery, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of Fame museum and Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus River). Overnight stay at Leh.

  4. Day 4 Leh - Nubra Valley 120 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs

  6. Day 6 Leh - Pangong Lake 140 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs

    After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, through Changla Pass 17,350 ft, 3rd Highest Motorable road in the world, Arrival at Camp, Later free time at Leisure and enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake.

  7. Day 7 Pangong Lake – Leh 140 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs

    Early morning enjoy the picturesque view of Sun rise on lake. After Breakfast drive back to Leh, enroute visit Thikse Monastery and Shey Palace. Overnight stay at Leh.

QWhat is the best time to visit?
A.   Ladakh is open for tourists throughout the year, while the best period for the cultural tour is between April and October ending. For adventure tours June to October is the suitable period. Most of the trekking routes are closed after November due to snow at high passes except the Liker to Khaltsey trek. The best period for Chadar-trek (frozen river trek) to Zanskar is from January to mid-March. The festivals of Stok, Matho and New Year take place in winter and it is possible to visit monasteries in winters. There are few hotels and guest houses with heating facilities in Leh that provide accommodation in winter.
Q Are there any visa and permit formalities?
A. Tourist can reach Leh with normal Indian tourist visa and does not require any special visa or permit. However, the foreign tourists are required to register themselves at Dras, Rumtse and Sarchu if they are travelling by road. Those travelling by air get themselves registered at the airport. The tourist, both foreign and domestic are required to get permit for restricted areas like Tsomoriri, Tsokar, Pangong Lakes, Dhahanu and Nubra Valley, Which can obtained through registered travel agencies.
