  1. Day 1 Guwahati to Nameri (192 km., 4 hours and 20 minute)

    Road to Eco Camp, camp set up along the Nameri National Park, located in the Bhorelli plain of the river in Assam but just on the edge of the mountains. It house endanger species such as the rhinoceros, hornbill, but also tiger (27 in 1997) and elephants.

  2. Day 2 Nameri to Dirang.( 170 km , 5 hours by road )

    Road north. You will leave the plains of Assam and into the mountains of Arunachal Pradesh. You will penetrate in Arunachal Pradesh to the post Bhalukpong.
    You will take altitude through the jungle and reach Bomdila capital of west kameng district, region inhabited by ethnic Monpa and Sherdukpen, following both Tibetan Buddhism. You already in a Himalayan environment, It is true that the altitude is lower than on the Tibetan plateau and Vegetation is everywhere, like Sikkim and Bhutan. The Monpa represent 40,000 residents about Arunachal. Night in a fairly comfortable in resort.

  3. Day 3 Dirang region

    Dirang valley, Hiking in the afternoon in the Valley towards sangti valley which is also a destination for emigrational Bird (black-necked cranes). Visiting sangti Monpa village, this is relit in the architecture and in the dialect spoken by the Monpa that inhabit the area. In evening, possibility to take a bath in the sulphurous hot springs.

  4. Day 4 Dirang to Tawang (160 km 4hours by road )

    Road to tawang, Before leaving the Dirang valley, you will discover the beautiful walk at Chug village. Then you cross the road by the collar of Sela pass (4249 m) and after 14km Jaswant gahr 1962 indo-china war memorial.

  5. Day 5 Tawang (3100 m)

    You will discover the Tawang monastery which is the second largest Monastery in world after Potala Palace in Lhasa in Tibet, consisting of 450 residents, built by the Tibetan Buddhist school Gelukpa (“yellow” hat) in 1680, which occupies a dominant position as a fortress, because at the time it was necessary to protect against attacks from rival school monks Drukpa neighbouring Bhutan, but Nyingma and also karmapa. You will also discover the Brandung Chung Ani Gompa monastery of nun, 5km from the tawang, and the highest in the Mountain.
    You will also visit urgeling village, the house where was born the 6th Dalai Lama, and the only Indian who had been received such an highest position in the Galukpa Religion. This place is an amazing course, very focused on the poetry and good living.

  6. Day 6 Region Tawang (Zimithang 92 km 2 hour by road)

    Road to Zimithang, close to the border with Bhutan, following the valley of a river will then irrigate the country. It is in this valley that is native Tsona Gontse Rimpoche, where he also makes occasionally. Visit Gorsam Chorten, large chorten with two bigeyes like found in the Kathmandu region foe t\example. You will also discover Monpa villages, dominant ethnic group in the region around Lumla.

  7. Day 7 Tawang – Bomdila (182 km 4hours and 30minute by road)

    After arrived at Bomdila, you will visit a Tibetan Buddhist monastery (Gelugpa school) and will perhaps chance to to meet Tsona Gontse Rimpoche, if available. And visiting local market for some hours.

  8. Day 8 Itanagar, (110 km 3 hours and 32 minutes)

    After breakfast before start journey to Ziro, visiting some interesting places around in Itanagar like historical fort called Ita-fort which was dates back to the 15th century (after which the city is named), and new Buddhist temple known as Buddha Vihar consecrated by Dalai Lama.
    Drive to Ziro, lunch on the mid way. You will discover during road a few longhouses isolated from the Nishi tribe.

  9. Day 9 Region Ziro

    Full day at Ziro region in course Apatani, meeting with a shaman this ethnic group, but also towards Apatani village located around Ziro,
    On the set of Ziro, in the heart of the country Apatani, 1,560 meters above sea level, you will walk through village of the Apatani tribe. The women’s of the ethnic group have the custom of adoring their nostrils with rattan disk painted black and few tattoos.
    The Apatani still practice today and divination shamanism. They were much more peaceful than their neighbours Nishi and Miri. They live in a very concentrated, unlike all other ethnic groups. The streets are quite narrow and sometime the houses are close to each other, separated by bamboo fence. Only 5 village , all located on the same shell, gathering all the Apatani community, which has about 22,000 in Arunachal Pradesh.

  10. Day 10 Ziro to Daporijo (167 km 5 hours and 10 minute)

    Road to Daporijo through the mountains. In the morning you will go on hike to the Raga village, inhabited by the ethnic group ‘Hill Miri, that is to say miri hills are 11000 inhabitants are among the poorest ethnic groups in the region. Nishi like men, they wear yet something are rattan sort of helmet on his head, but not decorated with hornbill beak. Daporijo is located in the valley of the river Subansiri (600 meters), which originated in Tibet, in the Lhuntse region.

  11. Day 11 Daporiho to Aalo (150 km 5hours journey)

    Along the way to through the mountains. You will spend the Subansiri River Basin than the Siyom river. In the region of Along you will discover a large village of Galo tribe. This can be seen in the massive architecture, opulent and very well thought of their homes.
    Around along living in the other sub tribe of the Adi, such as Minyong which live in the surrounding mountains. They all have Mongoloid features and are still animists in their culture for the majority. Adi are actually people that English explorers and settle called it Abor’ in the 19th and 20th century term meaning wild’ in a dialect plains of Assam.

  12. Day 12 Aalo to Pasighat (120 km, 4 hours and 30 minutes)

    While in this journey you will drive through siyom river and from the side of Siang river where you can find the fascinating view of the nature.
    Pasighat (180 meter above sea level) is the oldest town in Arunachal which was created by English colonial back in 1900. This town is dominated by the Adi people and its sub tribes like the Minyomg, the Padam, the Pasi and The pangge etc.

  13. Day 13 Pasighat to Tezu ( 94 km 5 hours by road)

    En route, you will find many missing tribe village which was also a sub tribe of Adi in the time of migration from Tibet and here you will cross on ferry two or three time.
    Tezu is a census town and the headquarters of Lohit district of Arunachal Pradesh.
    The ancient inhabitant of this land of valley and river are the Mishmi tribe. The Mishmi tribe have traditional and customs dating back to the times of Mahabharata. According to sacred Hindu traditions, Lord Krishna’s first queen Rukmini was a Mishmi damsel. Overnight at Tezu in hotel.

  14. Day 14 Tezu to Namsai ( 110 km 3 hours and 30 minute by road)

    In this journey you will see the lohit view and the confluence of three rivers of Arunachal, the Siang, the Dibang and the Lohit which create the mighty river Brahmaputra on the course.
    And the Holy Parshuram Kund where thousands of Hindu pilgrims from all over India, and also from neighbouring countries, come to take holy dip and wash away the sins of millions of births. You will also visit some khampti tribe village and tai khampti Buddhist Monastery.

  15. Day 15 Namsai to Namdapha national park (Deban) (79 km, 2 hours and 40 minute)

    En route you will cross from many Tea garden and Singhpo tribe civilization, Nocte tribe, chakma.
    Namdapha National Park is the largest protected area in the Eastern Himalaya biodiversity hotspot and located in Arunachal Pradesh..It is also the third largest National Park in India in terms of area. the park harbours the northernmost lowland evergreen rainforest in the world at 27’N latitude.
    This park is the destination for the Bird watching and the home for the four big cat species occur in the park ; snow leopard, clouded leopard, Indian leopard and Bengal tiger. While in the Deban forest camp you can see lots of hoolock gibbon in near by those area.

  16. Day 16 Region Namdapha (Activities 4 to 5 hours)

    Explore Namdapha with jungle walks and wildlife spotting in and around the Namdapha Tiger Reserve experience the joy of solitude amidst the wilderness called “oh wild”. Namdapha term with wildlife tiger, Takin, the wild buffaloes and the host of smaller fauna. A naturalist’s paradise.

  17. Day 17 Namdapha (Deban) to Dibrughar (190 km, 5 hours and 30 minute) by road.

    Dibrughar is a city and is the headquarters of the Dibrugarh district in the state of Assam. Well known as the Tea city of India. This city have a good connectivity of transportation like Airways and Railways to connect to the rest part of the country.

  18. Day 18 Mohanbari airport.

    Mohanbari airport (30 minutes from the city) Dibrughar. Flew back to Delhi.
