What to expect :

In-home meal: (1-15 guests) After a warm welcome into this old generational household, where Pankaj and Ujwala live along with parents, you will enjoy a simple, everyday vegetarian Rajasthani meal that Ujwala and her Mother-in-law have lovingly prepared. The meal will include authentic dishes that a typical local family might enjoy on a day to day basis. Your home-style meal will be served on a stainless steel thali and might include dishes such as Ujwala's specialty, gatta ki sabji (a typical Rajasthani dish of grain dumplings in sauce), Rajasthani biryani, stir-fried and spiced vegetables like carrots, peas and leafy greens, all served with roti and puri (Indian breads). Your meal will conclude with a dessert such as a subtly sweet cashew nut halva. After your meal, Pankaj will invite you up to their rooftop for fantastic views of the Jaisalmer and the surrounding old city, known for its Golden City.
