It lies in the district of Kangra. Kangra district lies between 31˚ 21′ to 32˚ 59′ N latitude and 75˚ 47′ 55″ to 77˚ 45′ E longitude. It is situated on the southern escarpment of the Himalayas. The entire area of the district is traversed by the varying altitude of the Shivaliks, Dhauladhar and the Himalayas from northwest to southeast. The altitude varies from 500 meters above mean sea level (AMSL) to around 5500 meters. It is encapsulated in the north by the districts of Chamba and Lahaul and Spiti, in the south by Hamirpur and Una, in the east by Mandi and in the west by Gurdaspur district of Punjab. It was the largest district of the composite Punjab in terms of the area till it was transferred from Punjab to Himachal Pradesh on the 1st November 1966 and had six tehsils namely Nurpur, Kangra, Palampur, Dehragopipur, Hamirpur, and Una. Kullu was also a tehsil of Kangra district up to 1962 and Lahaul & Spiti which also formed a part of Kangra was carved out as a separate district in 1960.

  1. Day 1 ARRIVE PATHANKOT & DRIVE TO SALLI VILLAGE (BASE CAMP)

    • Arrive Pathankot at and drive to Salli (80KMS/ 3 HRS).
    • Arrive Salli Base Camp (1850M) by Lunch time.
    • Check into the camp site.
    • Post lunch – walk to Salli Village and River Khauli
    • Dinner followed by bonfire and songs/ group entertainment
      (MEALS: LUNCH, EVENING TEA WITH SOUP & DINNER)

  2. Day 2 ACCLIMATIZATION DAY AROUND SALLI

    We go for an acclimatization walk from breakfast to lunch today. Post lunch, we prepare our rucksacks for the trek and some adventure activities.  (MEALS: BREAKFAST, LUNCH, EVENING TEA WITH SOUP & DINNER)

  3. Day 3 TREK TO CAMP 1 AT HANDI FOREST (2500M) 6KMS

    • Post breakfast, departure for trek to Camp I
    • Arrive around lunch time
    • Rasna/ Lemonade on arrival to be served
    • Post lunch, welcome address by the camp leader and allotment of tents on sharing basis
    • Adventure Activity -  Tyrolean Traverse/ River Crossing
    • Evening to explore the beautiful forest around
    • Soup time followed by dinner  and campfire
    • Overnight in tents
    •  (MEALS: BREAKFAST, LUNCH, EVENING TEA WITH SOUP & DINNER)

  4. Day 4 TREK TO CAMP 2 AT REHLA (3000M) 7 KMS

    • Post breakfast, departure for trek to Camp 2
    • Arrive around lunch time.
    • Rasna/ Lemonade on arrival to be served
    • Post lunch, welcome address by the camp leader and allotment of tents on sharing basis
    • Adventure Activity - Exploring the nearby high altitude area
    • Soup time followed by dinner and campfire
    • Overnight in tents (Group Sharing basis)

  5. Day 5 EXPLORE “CHAKBANDHAR DRINI” (3500M) 5KMS

    • Post breakfast, Height gain day to Chakbandhar Drini Range. Lots of snow around to play.
    • Return back to the camp around lunch time
    • Evening at leisure
    • Soup time followed by dinner and campfire
    • Overnight in tents (Group Sharing basis)
    • (MEALS: BREAKFAST, LUNCH, EVENING TEA WITH SOUP & DINNER)

  6. Day 6 TREK TO CAMP 1 AT HANDI FOREST

     

    • Post breakfast, departure for trek to Camp I
    • Arrive around lunch time
    • Rasna/ Lemonade on arrival to be served
    • Post lunch, welcome address by the camp leader and allotment of tents on sharing basis

QWhat is the cancellation policy?
A. The package price will be deducted as per the following conditions strictly. No refund will be entertained without receiving a cancellation request effective from the date of receipt of the letter.
Notice of fewer than 30 days:                         Half fee refund
Notice of fewer than 15 days:                         No refund.
No refund will be given to people who are unable to complete the trek or abandon it due to any reasons.

QAre there any medical facilities during trek?
A. Facilities for proper medical aid are available at every campsite throughout the trek. However those on special medication or with known drug allergies should bring their own necessary medications.
