  1. Day 1 Leh

    Arrival at Leh airport and transfer to the hotel. Complete day for acclimatization. Later evening visit to Leh Market, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Overnight stay at Leh.

  2. Day 2 Leh - Lamayuru – Sham 160 Kms/ 6-7 Hrs

    After breakfast drive to Lamayuru enroute visit Liker Monastery, Magnetic hill and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Lunch enroute, Post lunch drive to visit the mesmerizing Moon landscapes and the Lamayuru monastery. Overnight stay at Sham Valley.

  3. Day 3 Sham – Leh 160 Kms/ 6-7 Hrs

    After the breakfast drive to Leh enroute visit Alchi monastery and Hall of Fame. Arrive at Leh by afternoon. Overnight stay at Leh

  4. Day 4 Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh 280 Kms/ 10-11 Hrs

    After early breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) through Changla Pass 17,350 ft, 3rd highest motorable road in the world.   5. Day 5 Leh - Nubra Valley 120 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs

    After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft) post lunch, enjoy the camel safari at Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. Overnight stay at Nubra Valley.

  6. Day 6 Nubra Valley – Leh 120 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs

    After breakfast visit Diskit Monastery (Big Buddha), where you can have a magnificent view of Nubra Valley and drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass. Overnight stay at Leh.

  7. Day 7 Leh to Tsomoriri Lake 240 Kms/ 7-8 Hrs

    Morning after breakfast drive to Tsomoriri Lake by passing Chumathang (Hot Spring) along the Indus River. Evening take a walk around the Lake to enjoy the scenic beauty. Overnight stay at Korzok.

  8. Day 8 Tsomoriri Lake – Tsokar – Sarchu 260 Kms/ 10-11 Hrs

    After breakfast drive to Sarchu passing Puga, Tsokar Lake, Skyangchu Thang – Plateau on Stretch of 42 Kms, Enjoy your lunch at Pang, post lunch leave for Sarchu by crossing Nakeela and Lachung La. Arrive Sarchu by evening. Overnight stay at Sarchu.

  9. Day 9 Sarchu – Manali 222 Kms/ 9-10 Hrs

    After the breakfast drive for Manali, a beautiful scenic drive by crossing Baralacha La (4845m), lunch at Sissu village, later cross famous Rohtang Pass, 13050 ft. Arrive Manali by evening. Journey ends here.

1. What is the best time to visit?

Ladakh is open for tourists throughout the year, while the best period for the cultural tour is between April and October ending. For adventure tours June to October is the suitable period. Most of the trekking routes are closed after November due to snow at high passes except the Liker to Khaltsey trek. The best period for Chadar-trek (frozen river trek) to Zanskar is from January to mid-March. The festivals of Stok, Matho and New Year take place in winter and it is possible to visit monasteries in winters. There are few hotels and guest houses with heating facilities in Leh that provide accommodation in winter.

2. Are there any visa and permit formalities?

Tourist can reach Leh with normal Indian tourist visa and does not require any special visa or permit. However, the foreign tourists are required to register themselves at Dras, Rumtse and Sarchu if they are travelling by road. Those travelling by air get themselves registered at the airport. The tourist, both foreign and domestic are required to get permit for restricted areas like Tsomoriri, Tsokar, Pangong Lakes, Dhahanu and Nubra Valley, Which can obtained through registered travel agencies.
