Founded by the alumni of Harvard Business School, Charles Sturt University (NSW, Australia) and NMIMS (Mumbai), the outfit is a team of highly committed professionals with many years of combined experience in Adventure Tourism, Training and Eco consulting.
Treks 'n Rapids was founded in 2002 with a clear vision to invent, create and deliver 'Sustainable Euphoria' to its customers. Be it inventing newer and ever effective Experiential Learning exercises, or introducing newer adventure sports like Jumaring and Mountain Biking in the Himalayas (which everybody talked about, but didn't dare to promote, especially in North India where the high popularity of White Water Rafting led to paralysing innovativeness of most adventure travel operators), re-inventing modern Yoga & Meditation exercises and combining them with our camping programmes or organising meaningful - international standard Outdoor Education and Adventure Combined Programmes for Children & Youth. The core idea and purpose of existence has remained same for us - Happiness that sinks in, Experiences that recharge & revitalise everyone and pleasant memories of a holiday that stay on forever. The company aims at providing the highest safety levels and international quality standards to its customers. Treks 'n Rapids has also been doing its bit by spreading awareness among adventure and nature lovers to choose quality and safety first. In India, traditionally, corporate programmes or student development camps had been conducted by people who were more of 'agents' than being 'outdoor educators'.
